The second episode of the North Bay Scene Podcast is all about a little festival in the bush they call Roth Fest. RothFest ‘09 was held at a remote location in Powassan where roughly 100 metal fans gathered with tents and beer coolers packed with only cans to watch a full night of live music that ran until about 3 am.

In Powassan, nobody can hear you scream! RothFest is dear tradition to North Bay’s punk and metal community and this year its’ in Powassan, Ontario. North Bay Scene will be there covering the show and gathering content for the first official North Bay Scene Podcast. The show is on July 4rth and directions to the venue are posted below.

heading south on hwy 11 you make a left turn onto rivers rd e and follow it right to the end. it’s just before the weigh station so if you pass it you’ve gone too far.
also you can use google maps, it’ll give at directions to rivers rd e and also get an idea of how to get there. msg if you need a ride i might hook people up but it will be early
