The Windsong Music Festival is an outdoor musical experience that takes place under circus tents just outside of Powassan. North Bay’s White Water Gallery is presenting an acoustic music night. A fundraising night where proceeds go to the gallery to better support the arts.

Brave Astronaut CD Now Available

North Bay band Brave Astronaut (www.myspace.com/braveastronaut) has released its’ debut self-titled album. Comprised of Marianne Haist-Vocals/Keys, Drew Andress-Bass, Jon Cranston-Guitars and Sean McCarthy-Drums, the band has been working on the record for the last year.

The album features 11 alt rock songs with infectious melodies and riffs. It is on sale now at CD Plus in the Northgate Shopping Center and downtown at Tone Stack Guitars.

The band promises that an official CD release show is currently underway, but until then you’ll have to grab the album or check out their Myspace.
