North Bay part of the setting for Kids In the Hall Spinoff
The original Kids In The Hall, a well known Canadian comedy troupe that first got together in ‘84 are reuniting for an eight-episode miniseries, Death Comes To Town which is scheduled to air on CBC later this year. North Bay has been chosen as one of the cities where the new miniseries will be shot and auditions were even held last weekend giving local actors a chance at acting with the Kids in The Hall. More than 130 actors showed up for their chance at Canadian TV immortality.
Crews from the show have been driving around in North Bay this past week scouting spots to shoot. They already have a few places in mind from Sturgeon Falls to downtown North Bay and in between.
